We support organisations to develop their knowledge base.
What
We provide monitoring and evaluation, facilitation, research and strategic support. We’ve worked to understand how children are impacted by programmes, supported organisations to develop theories of change and run facilitated sessions on online misogyny, trauma-informed practice, participation, and feminist approaches to facilitation.
We use different tools to explore different issues; walking groups to think about misogyny online, tikTok video creation for young people evaluating service provision, WhatsApp groups to think about monitoring and evaluation frameworks. We also draw on traditional modes of knowing providing deep-dive literature reviews on girls’ rights, perpetrator programmes and participation.
Who
We’ve just wrapped up training for Rape Crisis Scotland on Digital Image Based Abuse. We’ve worked with teachers unions to talk about the manosphere. We’re also exploring ways to connect with parents and carers on supporting young men to navigate extremist, misogynist, ideologies online.
We’ve just been commissioned by Scottish Women’s Aid to deliver our Feminist Leadership programme. This is a three part online programme focusing on power, communication and care. Find out more about our wellbeing and leadership offer here
We’re also working with Engender to explore how EDI requirements within Creative Scotland’s funding has impacted on women creatives, and what difference that has made to access and engagement. Previously, we’ve evaluated anti-racist programmes for Education Scotland, and perpetrator interventions for Restart. We’ve supported Tiny Changes to review their impact, and we’ve worked with Creative Scotland to support children and youth participation.

Testimonials
“it felt like a very safe and supportive space that the team created for us all, which allowed us to be quite honest and really get to the heart of some of the areas where we were feeling quite stuck.”
Strategic Development Client
“Each of the sessions proved to be thought provoking. Ellie created fun sessions - her friendly, honest, humorous approach, combined with little tips from her own experience is just what we all needed. The legacy of this input has seem some small changes that will make a big impact whilst helping to identify some longer term goals we can work towards. Thank you Ellie!”
