We support communities to develop pathways for people to share their voices, develop services and influence change.
Why
We use filmmaking, collaging, sculpture and outdoor spaces to enhance engagement and meaning. We know that using our voices isn’t as straightforward as just being asked to speak. People have to feel comfortable and confident in sharing what they have to say, know where that information is going and what will happen to it. We understand what this means for different groups of people and how the intersections of discrimination can limit people’s ability to share their voices. We focus on relationships, trust and having fun.
We have worked with children and young people with experience of poor housing, poverty, domestic abuse and substance misuse. We have worked with creative children and young people, refugees, older people, adults with learning disabilities and communities recovering from the pandemic.
Who
We’re currently working with Fife Gingerbread, One Parent Families Scotland and Strathcylde University to co-faciliate a lone parent participation panel, supporting lone parents to develop a charter for workplaces.
We’re also launching our free “feeling better” network; place for those of working to support communities, individuals, and societies to feel better can build alliances and get out of our silos. Find out more here and watch our video below:
